Who we are
>Batter Up! is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
What we collect
Only what you type into our contact form: your name, email address, the topic you selected, and your message. We don't use tracking pixels, analytics cookies, or advertising tools. We don't collect any information about our program participants (the teens) through this website.
Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your inquiry and coordinate with volunteers, donors, and partners. We will not add you to a mailing list, newsletter, or fundraising campaign without your separate, explicit consent.
How we store it
Form submissions arrive in our shared inbox hosted on Google Workspace (a shared hello@ address, not a personal account). Google's privacy policy applies to that storage. We do not use any third-party CRM or marketing platform for contact form data.
How long we keep it
We retain contact form messages for 12 months, then delete them. If your inquiry leads to an ongoing relationship (e.g. you become a recurring volunteer), we may retain your contact details for the duration of that relationship.
We never sell or share your data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for any commercial purpose. Ever.
Children's privacy
Our program serves teenagers, but our website contact form is intended for adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, and partners). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we discover we have received a message from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
Your right to deletion
You can request that we delete your information at any time by emailing us. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the effective date at the top. We'll never make changes that reduce your privacy rights without clear notice.
